Our vision statement is: “Centenary United Methodist Church will be a church of neighbors, committed to serving all people whom God has placed in our midst through our caring presence and mindful actions, as demonstrated in the life of Jesus.”
We try to live out our vision in a number of ways. Whether you are a do-er, a giver, a dreamer or a prayer.. you have a place here! Some of the opportunities at Centenary are:
Volunteer: Put your talents and interests to work for Centenary and make
friends in the process. There are opportunities for members who wish to work in the building, do small maintenance or cleaning projects, assist in mission projects around the church, outreach events, fundraising or promoting. Contact our office to see what is going on currently.
Serve: Are you feeling called to serve on a committee or other area of 
ministry, but not sure where to begin? Our Worship Team needs liturgists, ushers, greeters and communion servers, our Board of Trustees makes decisions on building issues, our Staff/Parish committee works with the Pastor and personnel, and our Community Outreach Group meets to plan events that reach out to our neighbors and surrounding community. A Chat with our pastor can help provide clarity, discernment and the right opportunity for your gifts. Tell us about your passion and we will find a place for you at Centenary. Connect: We love to connect with other organizations in the area with
whom we share a vision and can partner with to strengthen our community. If you are a local group interested in working with us on a specific project, an ongoing idea or a future opportunity, we would love to hear from you! Together we can do more.
