Our vision statement is: “Centenary United Methodist Church will be a church of neighbors, committed to serving all people whom God has placed in our midst through our caring presence and mindful actions, as demonstrated in the life of Jesus.”
We try to live out our vision in a number of ways. Here are some of the opportunities to serve at Centenary:
Join one of our committees and put your talents and interests to work for Centenary and make friends in the process. There are opportunities for members who wish to work in the building, small maintenance projects, light cleaning and other chores that further the mission of the church. Our Board of Trustees makes decisions on building issues, our Staff/Parish committee works with the Pastor and personnel, and our Community Outreach Group meets to plan events that reach out to our neighbors and surrounding community. Tell us about your passion and we will find a place for you at Centenary.
Volunteer Opportunities: you may serve as liturgist, usher, greeter or help with communion for the worship service, or you may provide or help provide the lunch which follows morning worship.
