Centenary United Methodist Church will be a church of neighbors, committed to serving all people whom God has placed in our midst through our caring presence and mindful actions, as demonstrated in the life of Jesus.
Centenary United Methodist Church, located in downtown St. Louis, is a reconciling congregation of the United Methodist Church— that means that we understand that every person is a child of God no matter who they are or where they are in their lives. We welcome everyone regardless of age, race, socioeconomic status, educational experience, sexual orientation, or other superficial divisions. Centenary Church made a commitment many years ago to support the downtown community, and we have remained committed to this mission throughout many decades of civic and cultural change. Our congregation has been working for God in the city for over 175 years.
Today we strive to serve all people whom God has placed in our midst. We open our doors to hosting weddings, small business incubator leased space and overnight accommodations for mission group experiences. Moreover, we see ourselves as a growing and stabilizing force in the changing downtown neighborhood landscape.
Join us on Sundays for Worship at 11 a.m in our main sanctuary or 5pm for a contemporary service in our Anchor Room Coffeehouse on the first floor.
