Ministries

Living our mission

Serving those whom God puts in our midst can look different, depending on the day, season, the person and what God is up to. Here are just some of the ministries we are currently doing. Follow us on social media to catch upcoming events!

Creating pathways out of poverty through engaged community, supportive employment, and safe water initiatives, The Anchor Room Coffeehouse offers so much more than a delicious cup of coffee. Open to the public Wednesday – Saturday for gatherings with friends, staff meetings, and private parties.. from Thursday Open Mic Nights and Sunday’s contemporary worship service, there is always something going on in this artistic and unique bible study room turned coffeeshop. You will often find one of our gifted pastors there during office hours enjoying the menu and the company of our regulars.

Business Center

St.Louis is a vibrant city due, in part, to the variety of independent restaurants and companies that are rooted here. Our affordable commercial kitchen and office spaces allow small and growing local businesses to concentrate on their entrepreneurial goals without competing with high lease rates. In serving those who serve you, we have the opportunity to nurture that growth and support the livelihood of our community. Find out more by checking out our Business Center page.

We also have numerous conference rooms, a full gymnasium, chapel and dining room for one-time events. Contact us for rates and info.

Mission House and Retreat Center

At Centenary, we are big on hospitality. Whether you are visiting for a worship service or to volunteer service, you are welcome here. We host groups year round for alternative spring break programs, summer youth mission trips, fall getaways and everything in between. Our Mission House and Retreat Center is set up exclusively for your group, with 20+ beds, kitchen and gymnasium access, private restrooms and a living room for recharging and we are glad to provide additional meeting rooms and service projects or connections to meet your needs.

During your stay, feel free to stay close to home and wander our rose labyrinth in the garden or take a walk to the iconic gateway arch, City Museum, Blues hockey stadium, Union Station, or the newly renovated Aquarium just blocks away.
